If your life were a soundtrack, what would the music be? (stolen from ~vermelho's and ~KarrinGray's journals.)

Here’s how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, winamp, media player, iPod).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that’s playing.
5. New question– press the next button.
6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool.

-Opening Credits:
'Our Lies'- Rasputina
(Ooooh- that doesn't start well for my reputation.. teehee)

-Waking up:
'Mummer's Dance'- Loreena Mckennitt

-First Day of School:
'Rikean Heart'- Cocteau Twins

-Falling in Love:
'Strangled'- Snake River Conspiracy
(Ouch- funny, fitting, and kinda sad ...:flirty:
"To love you, to need you, to take you doooown, I love,... I fucking love you, I'll never ever leave you.... alone")

-Breaking up:
"Please Let Me Get What I Want'- Deftones cover
(Also suiting, and a kickass cover, I love DEFTONES!)

-Prom"
'The Same'- Nonpoint
(Wish they'd actually played something cool like this at my prom)

-Life's OK:
'Song of the Nile'- Dead Can Dance

-Mental Breakdown:
'Kitaro'- Lengend soundtrack

-Driving:
'Sally's Song'- Fiona Apple cover- Nightmare Before Christmas 3D Covers (Another kickass cover! :pumpkin:)

-Flashback:
'Bad Dreams, Tender Moments'- Danny Elfman- Sleepy Hollow soundtrack (OOH scary flashback, just the way I like it! :evillaugh: )

-Getting Back Together:
'The New Zero'- Rasputina
(It works... "He's agreed to take me to the ice hotel in the magazine...)

-Wedding:
'Music for Vampires'- Dead Can Dance
(HAHA This is actually perfect if Zac and I ever got married, a song titled music for vampires... perfect! :D)

-Birth of a Child:
'Reflection'- Tool (Fitting for me, because if I ever had a child I would be doing some serious reflecting on how the hell it happened!!)

-Final Battle:
'Am I Born To Die'-Tim Eriksen- Cold Mountain soundtrack
(A couldn't have picked a better song myself for a final battle, though it might have worked for death scene better...)

-Death Scene:
'Balero'- Lisa Gerrard

-Funeral Song:
'Walking Man's Road'- America- Last Unicorn soundtrack
(I like how well that fits as anyones funeral song)

-End Credits:
'The Promise'- The Piano soundtrack

Well there you have it, my life as a soundtrack, most of it is very suitable for me, I like it. Reminds me of that one Family Guy episode where Peter gets his own theme music, awesome! :headbang:

Anyway, in less frivilous news, I have actually been doing some art, just going reeeeally slow with it... sorry. Iv'e been writing as well, which is as equally a slow proccess as art for me, and attempting to ballance the two in my very rare spare time is a little overwhelming. It's actually not that easy trying to write, and then switch over to drawing, can't really force the muse... well I guess you can, but you'll just produce crap. Maybe it's just me with that problem. I probably will post some of my pre-painted sketches, and WIP's in my scraps... sometime

Also Zac and I are going the the Oregon to the Faerie Worlds Festival July 21-22! [link] ... and for some stupid reason the link isn't working. It's at faerieworlds.com if you're interested. :D :boogie: :strip: :w00t:
I am so freaking excited! :excited: I get to meet BRIAN and WENDY FROUD, and get my 'Faeries' book signed! Also, no less amazing, is meeting and getting her signature on my 'Tithe' book, HOLLY BLACK! I just hope I don't drool, perspire excessively and forget how to speak when I actually meet them. I've never been out of Montana either, so that'll be fun too! I'll take lots of pictures and post them when I get back!

Yay I'm going to see Pan's Labyrinth tomorrow! It sucks that it's subtitled though, I hate subtitles..... oh well. I've been dying to see this movie! I'm getting goosebumps just writing about it! I didn't want to get my hopes up, in case it's not as awesome as I wish it to be, but it did get six academy award nominations and is on over 130 top ten lists (not that I care about that shit, but it definately fuels my excitement!) how can it not be fan-fucking-tastic!!! :boogie: :excited: :w00t:

I probably won't be putting any art up for a while, (not like I ever did on a regular basis anyway...) I'm on hiatus. I've been having a form of artists block. I keep fucking up pictures, and have to stop myself from shredding them to pieces! :stab: I've been getting so frustrated and discouraged I thought it would be best to put my art aside for a while so I don't ruin anymore wips, and just wait until I regain some confidence. Hopefull it won't be long.... :sniff:
In the meantime go check out my boyfriend's gallery--> he's doing better than ever! :flirty: He just got a new wacom tablet and a painter program and he's been doing some really tremendous work
